By purchasing and using the Method Mani-Science® system, you (the nail technician) acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions:

 

Purpose of the System: The Method Mani-Science® system is an educational tool designed to help nail professionals assess the risk levels of potential allergic reactions to gel nail products based on clients’ exposure histories. It is intended to guide nail technicians in making informed decisions and helping to minimise the risk of allergic reactions by providing insights into client sensitivities. The system is not a substitute for proper product knowledge, professional training, or industry-standard and safe practices.

 

Client Risk Assessment: The system categorises clients based on their previous exposure to gel products and provides recommendations for treatment. However, it cannot eliminate the risk of allergic reactions entirely. Allergic reactions may still occur, especially in clients who have been exposed to gel products previously or who have sensitivities not outlined in the system. The nail technician is responsible for assessing the client’s overall health, past experiences, and suitability for gel treatments.

 

Nail Technician Responsibility: The nail technician is solely responsible for the application of all products and services. The Method Mani-Science® system is not designed to replace proper nail care techniques or the use of manufacturer guidelines and product instructions. It is essential that nail technicians follow the correct application methods, use the appropriate curing lamps, and follow product-specific instructions to ensure safety.

 

Limitation of Liability: Method Mani-Science® cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions, adverse effects, or legal issues that arise from the use of the system. By using the system, the nail technician accepts responsibility for their actions and any outcomes resulting from the use of the system, including any allergic reactions or injuries caused by the use of gel products.

 

Use of the System: Nail technicians must use the Method Mani-Science® system in accordance with the instructions provided. Failure to follow proper application methods, misuse of the system, or neglecting to properly assess client risk may result in adverse reactions. In such cases, the responsibility for these actions lies with the nail technician, not Method Mani-Science.

 

Educational Purpose: This system is designed to raise awareness of allergic reactions to gel products and promote best practices within the nail industry. It does not guarantee an allergy-free treatment. Nail technicians must continue their professional education, stay updated on safety standards, and ensure that all products and techniques used are in line with regulatory and manufacturer requirements.
